On 24th and 25th of April, 8 choreographers successfully concluded their first showcase, Pre-show 1, marking the completion of the first phase of the programme!
During Pre-show 1, Choreographic Mentors, advisors, observers, dancers, and audience members gathered to witness the interim works of the 8 choreographers. Each of them presented a unique piece, exploring diverse themes, concepts, methods, and dance styles. The workshop experiences were skilfully transformed into vibrant and multifaceted street dance creations.
More than just a performance, Pre-show 1 emphasized the importance of post-show discussions. Reflections on the experience, valuable feedback, and professional critiques, making Pre-show 1 an integral part of the creative journey. These insights will help the choreographers refine, evolve, and elevate their works into 2.0 versions for the upcoming second showcase, Pre-show 2.
